Group Questing

Post by TheRoadToSafety on Thu Jun 30, 2016 5:03 pm

Not in a million years did I think I would be writing up a thread like this but I suppose life is full of surprises. Very Happy
All along I thought questing was supposed to be the ultimate single player experience. You are to become the hero of the world and this is how your story unfolds.
Sure, along the way a few NPCs may wish to share in the glory but they are a mere afterimage and get nowhere near the spotlight.

As for sharing your story with real-life players several borders away from you? Inconceivable! Human nature is finicky, impatient, far too chaotic at times. Streamlining the choices of several people to one experience I figured would be an impossibility!
And yet...

I choose to put my own preconceived notions to the test. I struggled with the idea initially but I went ahead with it regardless.
I was too curious...
The results? Well see for yourselves  Very Happy

Made me giggle and smile to look back to the pictures. I liked the journey. Had no idea it would work out that well either but it did. Think we should do that again at one point, hehe, was really enjoyable and so much fun.

It's not just the journey and our memory of events that helps remind us of what happened/ where we came from...
It's also how the story is told Razz
A skillful bard/ storyteller has the ability to turn any battle into a hard-won victory and any champion into a hero Wink

Aww, yes, that was lovely ... always a pleasure. :3

I've been tempted to write something to almost every picture but I guess that would be too much,
but that was wonderful - I love all of them, including their texts. ;') Thank you again for putting them up.
